From the crest of the Aillwee hills glides one of the many birds used in the Burren Birds of Prey flight displays. Eagles, buzzards, owls and falcons fly in a magnificent display of grace and power. The open air grass arena at the base of the Aillwee hills provides an opportunity to interact with the birds in their natural environment. The close proximity allows for extraordinary photo opportunities of the birds in free flight. Flying displays are at 12:00 noon and 3:00 p.m. with additional displays during the summer months. Flying displays are subject to weather conditions.
