Aillwee Cave and The Burren Birds of Prey Centre opens its gates
On Saturday June 12th and Sunday June 13th 2010, Aillwee Cave and the Burren Birds of Prey Centre will hold an “Open Day” and cordially invite one and all to come and visit.
So much has changed since Aillwee Cave first opened to the public in 1976. It is now more than just a show cave; it’s a whole day out. On both days there will be lots of fun and games for the whole family to enjoy; Face Painting, Puppet Shows, Woodland Craft Demonstrations, Train Rides, Carousel Rides and of course Free entry to Aillwee Cave and the Burren Birds of Prey Centre. There will be extra flying displays on each of the days which will provide a unique opportunity to see these magnificent birds in dramatic free flight.
The aim of the “Open Day” is to make it an unforgettable experience for all visitors on the day. During the weekend we will be introducing our ‘Friendship Card’ that will give cardholders entry concessions and enable them to avail of special offers and events throughout the year.
